Security Officer Foot Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol Rounds in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily site operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas within a technology-focused location, assisting with visitor direction, credential checks, and reporting of policy violations.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel with routine security-related tasks, including maintaining post logs, writing incident reports, and relaying important information during shift activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certification in CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
