As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in WILMINGTON , DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a professional and welcoming atmosphere, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and clear communication. Pay Rate: $22.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and help verify that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas, following site protocols for visitor processing, badge checks, and/or after-hours access.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining a visible presence, and communicating professionally with patients, staff, and/or guests while following healthcare location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to use a computer or tablet comfortably is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
