Security Officer Foot Patrol

As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Johnston, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related issues. You will document observations, respond to requests, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while providing strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, data and equipment areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor check-in, and direct deliveries to designated receiving areas in a professional manner.
• Complete patrol and incident reports using required systems, escalate maintenance and security-related concerns, and support operational continuity for a technology location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
