Security Officer - Foot Patrol

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Millington, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or potential threats found during patrols or while on post.
• Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and promote a secure environment for employees and visitors at the location.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
