As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns with clear communication, and deliver customer service that builds trust with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and personnel by following site-specific procedures, government-facility protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public services as needed.
• Monitor access points and assist with controlled entry procedures, visitor processing, and directing individuals to designated areas per site guidelines.
• Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation related to security-related observations, patrol findings, and policy compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 or more years of security experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
