As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet and assist staff, patients, and visitors, respond to concerns, and document activity using site tools and systems. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, access concerns, and requests for assistance.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor direction and/or wayfinding throughout the location.
• Document and report security-related incidents, patrol observations, and shift activity using required logs and reporting systems, and communicate pertinent information to the site supervisor and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• The client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
