As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, respond to questions and concerns, and communicate observations clearly to site contacts. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, property rules, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
- Monitor and control access at designated entry points by verifying identification as required, directing visitor traffic, and documenting entries and exits per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate parties, assisting with scene control, and completing incident documentation.
- Complete daily activity reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate notable observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or property management as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
