As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, support access control and badge processes, and communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and management. Your visible presence and customer-first approach help to deter security-related incidents while documenting observations and responding to concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and client representatives by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and/or mall location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, and exterior perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing direction to visitors and assisting with crowd control and/or queue management as needed.
• Monitor for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations; document observations and incidents in written reports and communicate updates to site leadership.
• Support access control activities such as monitoring entrances, observing deliveries and vendor activity, and assisting with lost and found and/or customer inquiries.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
