As a Front Desk Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting tenants while helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence. You will monitor entry points, manage visitor access, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of all individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
• Maintain a professional presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or behavior.
• Assist with emergency response activities as outlined in site procedures.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
