As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, provide helpful directions and clear communication, and document observations and incidents as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, hospital policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior units, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to clinical staff, leadership, and/or public responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with wayfinding, and support staff with security-related requests such as escorts and presence on units when needed.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and unusual conditions in reports and logs, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security experience.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Work in a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Have 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
