As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible, and help to identify and report security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per AU Driver Policy Requirements, and you will also support access control, incident documentation, and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, yards, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns for follow-up.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and delivery areas; verify authorization for employees, contractors, and vendors; and direct traffic flow to support orderly movement on site.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, medical calls, and/or fire-related events, and notify site contacts and public responders as directed by post orders.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors, site representatives, and oncoming officers.

Minimum Requirements:

• EMT Certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Previous firefighting experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
