As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, professional communication. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through strong customer service while helping to reduce incidents and maintain order. This role requires an Armed Guard Card or License and reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter, checking doors, gates, and restricted areas for unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, disorderly conduct, and potentially violent situations, and request law enforcement and/or medical support as needed.
• Control access to authorized areas by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management and/or after-hours access according to post orders.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate pertinent information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
