As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within financial institutions, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain a high level of visibility throughout the location to help to deter potential threats.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing security-related duties.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Carry and appropriately handle authorized firearms in accordance with company policy, training, and applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
