As an unarmed patrol officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, report concerns clearly, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at an automotive location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per post orders and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, vehicle storage areas, showrooms, service bays, offices and perimeter areas as permitted by site policy.
• Monitor access points and vehicle movement, checking credentials and/or visitor authorization when required, and directing guests, vendors and drivers to appropriate locations.
• Complete required reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports and patrol documentation, and communicate site conditions to Allied Universal supervision and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
