Security Officer - Financial Patrol Full-Time

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Full-Time in Flushing, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting access awareness and site operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, financial location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to supervisors, local contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Support a professional presence at the location by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting maintenance, life emergency, and/or policy-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 or more years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
