As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location, where you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues.
• Support closing and opening routines, observe cash handling and high-traffic areas from an assigned post, and follow post orders for incident reporting and emergency communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
