As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Role in High Point, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts, visitors, and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or policy concerns according to site guidelines.
• Support loss prevention awareness by observing suspicious behavior, reporting concerns to site management, and assisting with crowd control, closing procedures, and/or other routine security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
