As a Security Officer Entry Screening Officer in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional environment through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification processes, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor entry and exit points, screen visitors and/or deliveries, and document access activity to support security-related operations at a manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to access control points and security-related concerns.
• Assist with enforcing site rules for restricted areas, vehicle access, and visitor processing while maintaining professional interactions and clear reporting of security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
