Security Officer - Entry Control

As a Security Officer - Entry Control in Bristol, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and monitor entry points using computers and/or tablets. You will maintain a visible presence, complete routine rounds as needed, document activity, and communicate clearly with site teams. Bring an agile, reliable mindset and a caring, people-first approach while acting with integrity and delivering through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control requirements for a tech and media location.
• Control entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized guests and vendors.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems to identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access, escalating concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate and requesting support as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, and the perimeter, reporting maintenance issues and security-related concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of Security Experience.
• Be 21 Years of Age.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
