As a Security Officer Front Desk in Charleston, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional front desk location supporting the utilities industry, where you will welcome visitors, manage access activity, and assist with security-related communications. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor visitor access, verify identification, issue visitor credentials, and/or maintain front desk logs for employees, contractors, and guests entering the location.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, direct arrivals to the appropriate department, and/or communicate access protocols and site expectations in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report activity according to site procedures.
• Support front desk operations at a utilities location by observing lobby activity, documenting unusual events, and/or helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
