In this driving post, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at retail and transportation locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, public areas, platforms, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with crowd management, directional support, and incident response during busy business periods, deliveries, arrivals, departures, and/or special events as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
