As a Vehicle Patrol Security Officer At a Beverage Distribution Center in Manchester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will manage access points, support badge-related processes, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.55 / Hour

1. Age Requirement:

   • All candidates must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for employment. This requirement is in place to comply with legal regulations and company policies.

2. Driver's License:

   • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license issued in the state where the job is located. This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the retail location, verifying credentials, following visitor procedures, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, unauthorized access attempts, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, entrances, employee areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Assist with directing visitors, supporting opening and closing procedures, and communicating security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
