Security Officer - DoD Clearance

As a Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to post guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, restricted area concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Support security-related operations at an aerospace and defense location by maintaining awareness of site rules, following post orders, and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
