As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and managing badge access at a logistics and distribution location. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and any unusual activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities as required, maintaining communication with site management and Allied Universal supervisors.
• Collaborate with site personnel to address security-related needs and maintain a welcoming environment at the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
