As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Screener in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Conduct screening of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items, following all site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors in a professional manner while maintaining security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary according to established protocols.
• Document all screening activities, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly as required by site and Allied Universal procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate any concerns or unusual activities observed during screening.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout assigned shifts to help to deter security-related risks within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
