Security Officer - Distribution Center

As a Security Officer - Distribution Center in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support a professional, welcoming experience for visitors and staff. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication and teamwork, while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for the logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates, docks, and/or designated checkpoints, following post orders and reporting irregular activity or policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing operational areas, trailer yards, parking locations, and access points for security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
