Security Officer - Distribution Center Patrol

As a Security Officer - Distribution Center Patrol in Centennial, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, report unusual activity, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entrances, gates, and shipping and receiving areas by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or delivery paperwork, issuing visitor credentials, and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, perimeter fencing, and exterior doors to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, responding to alerts and suspicious activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalating issues per post orders.
• Document incidents, hazards, and unusual activity in daily reports and incident reports, coordinating with site management and emergency responders when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
