Security Officer - Distribution Access Control

As a Security Officer - Distribution Access Control in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling access at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication, all while supporting a collaborative and caring team culture built on integrity and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Perform access control duties by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location.
• Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related matters.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a professional presence at access points.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, collaborating with site personnel and Allied Universal management.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
