As a Security Officer - Cruise Operations Escort in Cape Canaveral, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cruise Ops, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated cruise operations locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the cruise operations location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions, documenting incidents and notifying the appropriate parties as needed.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Assist with emergency response activities, following established protocols and coordinating with Allied Universal and local personnel.
• Maintain a high level of visibility while on patrol to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to clients and guests.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal team members.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
