Security Officer - Court Screening

As a Security Officer - Court Screening in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a government location, where you will help support secure entry operations, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals entering the location by verifying identification, checking authorized access, and observing for prohibited items or unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, screening concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and perimeter locations as assigned, noting and documenting security-related conditions, access concerns, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a guard card
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
