Security Officer - Corporate Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Corporate Patrol Driver in Richmond, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering helpful customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license, supporting mobile patrols, perimeter checks, and quick assistance across the site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report issues through established communication and documentation channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, docks, yards, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and delivery check-in activities, including verifying identification, directing traffic flow, and maintaining security-related logs as required by site policy.
• Observe and report security-related hazards such as unsecured doors, damaged fencing, broken lighting, and suspicious behavior, and coordinate with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
