Security Officer - Corporate Park Patrol

As a Security Officer - Corporate Park Patrol in Sherman Oaks, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, respond to questions and concerns, and communicate clearly with property teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate promptly with site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and property activity, verify credentials when required, and assist with directing visitors, deliveries, and service providers in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and use site systems such as radios, phones, and/or computers to document and relay security-related information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
