As a Security Officer Corporate Campus Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support guests, tenants, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and reporting concerns in a timely manner.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help support orderly operations, customer assistance, and security-related awareness.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
