Security Officer - Corporate Campus Patrol

As a Security Officer - Corporate Campus Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine foot rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with onsite contacts, and respond to concerns with a customer-first approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter doors to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and building activity, assisting with visitor management, contractor check-in, and delivery coordination in accordance with post orders and property rules.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, requesting assistance from on-site management and/or public services, and providing clear direction to occupants as needed.
• Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident documentation, and shift handoff notes, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and the property management team.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
