As a Security Officer - Tech Media Front Desk in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

• Greet visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional manner while monitoring access at the front desk of a technology-focused location.
• Conduct identification and credential checks for all persons entering the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate personnel as necessary.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.
• Assist with visitor management processes, including logging visitors and issuing badges as required by site protocols.
• Provide customer service to clients and guests by answering questions and directing them to appropriate locations within the facility.
• Support emergency response activities at the front desk as directed by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
