Security Officer - Control Room

As a Security Officer - Control Room in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at an aero and defense location, you will coordinate security-related response by monitoring alarms and cameras, tracking patrol activity, managing radios and phones, and dispatching officers to calls for service. You will help maintain access control and visitor flow while documenting incidents with clear, professional communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and employees by following site-specific, security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Operate the dispatch post by monitoring alarms, cameras, radios, and/or telephone communications, and coordinating officer response to calls for service and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate internal contacts and/or public responders per post orders.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs and incident documentation, including tracking key events, patrol status updates, and shift activity reports.
• Support regular and random patrol operations by assigning coverage areas, relaying post instructions, and documenting patrol check-ins around buildings, production areas, and perimeter points.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1 years' law enforcement experience OR 2 years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3 years' security experience.
• Client requires proof of HS diploma/GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
