Security Officer - Concierge Desk Residential

As a Security Officer - Concierge Desk Residential in Pompano Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a luxury residential location, you will be the first point of contact for residents and guests, providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring access to the property. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the building, verify identification, and document visitor information as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity within the residential location.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including communicating with building management and/or emergency services.
• Maintain accurate records and daily activity logs, reporting any unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
• Answer phones, address resident inquiries, and provide general assistance while upholding security-related practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
