Security Officer - Command Center

As a Security Officer Command Center in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and support access and alarm activity with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to use strong communication and customer service skills while working with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, and that puts people first through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, radio traffic, and/or incoming calls, and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document incidents, service requests, and/or unusual activity in dispatch logs and reports with clear and timely updates.
• Coordinate communication between on-site personnel, visitors, vendors, and/or local responders during incidents and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrol support through remote monitoring and help to deter unauthorized activity around the business and perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
