As a Security Officer - Driver Perimeter Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify irregular activity, hazards, and unsecured areas, and report findings per post orders.
- Monitor access points and support visitor and vendor check-in processes as directed, helping to maintain authorized entry and orderly traffic flow.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, coordinating with hospital personnel, and requesting additional support as needed.
- Complete security-related reports and log entries, communicate activity to supervision and/or site contacts, and assist with preserving incident information for follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
