As a Security Guard - Mobile Roving Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a higher-education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds on foot, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support students, faculty, staff, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking areas, and perimeter grounds to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and respond to access control requests, alarms, and/or calls for assistance; assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general information as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports; communicate noteworthy activity to oncoming personnel and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
