Security Officer - Camera Operator

As a Security Officer - Camera Operator in New Albany, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location where you will help manage access control, verify credentials, issue badges, and support a smooth visitor and employee check-in process. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, with opportunities to use computer-based tools to document activity and reports.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification, and directing authorized personnel to the proper location.
• Operate access control systems by monitoring entry and exit points, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, and maintaining required access logs and reports.
• Screen and process deliveries, service vendors, and vehicles in accordance with posted procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including perimeter points and entry routes, and document security-related observations per site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
