Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence while contributing to a caring, team-focused culture built on reliability, innovation, agility, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus grounds, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity across assigned areas, assisting with visitor direction, policy awareness, and reporting of suspicious behavior and/or maintenance concerns.
• Support campus operations during routine activities and special events by maintaining a visible presence, following post instructions, and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
