Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness with professional communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related concerns and/or operational issues.
- Document observations, incidents, and daily activities in required reports, and support requests for assistance from authorized personnel and/or public agency representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
