What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the utility location.
• Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms in accordance with company and site-specific protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or activities during the shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required.
• Remain alert to potential security-related threats specific to a utility facility environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
