As a Security Officer - Armed Walking Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will complete routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to tenant and visitor needs, and communicate clear, timely reports. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access issues.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifying onsite management and/or emergency services, and documenting actions taken.
- Monitor access points and control entry for authorized individuals by checking identification, issuing visitor instructions, and reporting unauthorized access attempts to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate observations and concerns during shift handoffs to support consistent coverage.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years' armed security/law enforcement/military experience.
- CPO certification may be completed post hire.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
