Security Officer Armed Patrol

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This role offers the chance to serve patients, staff, and visitors through strong communication and customer service while reflecting our values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity through teamwork.

Pay Rate: $19.61 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and visitor activity, and/or verify access permissions in accordance with site protocols for staff, vendors, and guests.
• Support a clean and professional environment by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license as required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience, or a criminal justice degree.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
