Security Officer Armed Patrol

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Investigator in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities within a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and movement through the location while verifying credentials, screening visitors, and reporting security-related concerns.
• Support order at the location by communicating with staff, following post orders, and assisting with security-related response activities as situations develop.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
