What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, while maintaining a professional presence.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
- Communicate and collaborate with site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed to address incidents or security-related concerns.
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
- Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or security-related incidents as required by site protocols.
- Uphold Allied Universal's standards of professionalism and customer service while performing all assigned duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
