Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $18.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and/or document security-related concerns, policy violations, and incident details in accordance with site requirements.
• Work collaboratively with local staff, the public, and/or first responders during routine operations and emergency situations while maintaining professionalism and attention to post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
