As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Rover in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Support asset protection efforts for equipment, restricted areas, and/or sensitive workspaces by maintaining a visible presence and following post orders for an armed patrol assignment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
